Video Remote Interpreting (VRI)

There are times when a physical interpreter is not immediately available. Another solution InterpreCorps provides is VRI to meet those last-minute or specific needs.

VRI uses video conferencing technology to create an interpreting experience when the interpreter and the sign language user are in different physical locations.

VRI is currently used at the workplace, medical settings, police stations, schools and other environments.

Please keep in mind that VRI is not a replacement for a physical interpreting experience because the technology limits much of the information the sign language user can access.

Is VRI right for you? Contact us and we’ll find the right solution for any of your interpreting needs.
